Born and raised in Germany, Femke Becherer completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in the Netherlands. While studying, she became more aware of social justice issues and started to become active in climate justice activism. Later, she started pursuing her Masters degree in Psychology of Intercultural Relations in Lisbon, Portugal, where she is writing her master’s thesis on Conspiracy narratives and Anti-Asian racism during COVID-19.
She is interested in racism, sexism, gender equality, climate justice and their versatile intersections.
