Bropropriating

Bropropriating is a term describing a situation where a man steals a woman’s idea and takes credit for it.

There is a historical pattern of women being silenced and robbed of their accomplishments. Mansplaining, Manterrupting & Bropropriating are three terms focusing on the misogynistic tendencies women have to endure in the professional and everyday world.

Usually, when faced with these hostile situations, women get shut down and become less engaged. We should aim to achieve a future where Bropropriating is not acceptable, and due credit is given to women.
